Final edit of the photo above from my Instagram.

Here's a photography tip for setting exposure when you're shooting street or on-location portrait photography using natural light or continuous lighting. Use your hand to test exposure under different lighting conditions (in direct sun, in the shade, in shadows) in your scene to get the exposure that you want. I use this method daily, so that I can use manual mode and focus on capturing moments.
Now I've got thousands of images of my hand - maybe I should put together a photo book of my hands.
We'll be away for the holidays! Bora and I will be in Paris and Reykjavik celebrating our honeymoon.
Leaving for Paris, then Reykjavik. Any recommendations?

Richie will be in the Boston area - so if you need us, please don't hesitate to reach out. The calendar under "Book Now" has also been updated, so if you want to schedule a future session, please do so!
Happy Holidays!
On Sunday, Dec. 11, we hosted our first portrait mini sessions and I'd say the day was a success! Thanks to all those who came out to support Dan Lee Photo and to our clients. We couldn't do this without you. Thanks again!
Note: Mini sessions are usually 15-20 minutes long and scheduled back-to-back.
Here's a sample from that day:
Voting is important. It's a critical element of our democratic process. Don't forget to vote on November 8. Here's a PSA to encourage members of the Korean American community to get out and vote made by Korean Community Services. We're proud to support!
